Goa was a blast,a very hurried trip though. I am tanned and trimmer,no surprise considering i lived on fish and coconut water.I love my new body and my new hair( straigtened it poker straight as in rebonded) and cant forget my skin which is now the colour of honey.Love what a good EVEN tan does to you.Back in Delhi a day ago and havent had time to breathe,meetings back to back then went out last night,an old family friend got back into the country and called me up....very out of the blue.I was still in beach bum mode so ended up being very inappropriately dressed for dinner. Ate at 19 Oriental Avenue....great food.Even the sushi was good and I am very particular about sushi( i dislike it more often than not).Prawns in basil sause for main course which was excellent.Dessert was a platter, i know i know but its been so long since I ate or even thought of dessert....dug into chocolate mousse,mango cheesecake,ice cream with nuts and caramel and strawberry shortcake.I bit into the rest but finished my mousse completely......my loyalties are always going to be with chocolate.
Anyway the family friend(s son actually) turned into a 31 year old really cute as in chocolaty, easy going boy.I like him as in hes friendly and sweet but its defenitely not love at first sight.Incase i didnt mention,dinner was a set up by our parents(which i turned a blind eye to) I had postponed it for the last three months,pressure was mounting which explains last night.
Polo season is starting. Dont have time to go watch matches though.A few cousins are playing so will need to take some time out there.
Maxed my debit card.Dnt use credit and suddenly I had no money,as i write this my account has 232 bucks in it.I picked up a winter jacket,a new pair of sunglasses,a suede skirt to match my boots,paid for my vacation, rebonded my hair and suddenly i am broke. Anyway called my dad and he very sweetly put in 20,000 to last me the month. This after I refused to take a penny from him in March(started working then).Its just a loan.wink....
Off travelling this weekend.I am actually taking my mom to our cottage in Bhimtal.Its lovely but very dilapidated.Its a five room structure standing on a hill and has the most amazing veiw to the deserted valley below.One side of the hill has apple orchards while the other has stunning pine trees.It gets unbearably cold even with heaters running from November to February, not to forget dangerous, the cheetahs come down looking for food and I dont want to volunteer.So making our last trip till March next year.Back on Monday morning.More about Bhimtal then.Pictures dont load here,i wanted to post a few here.Anyway back to work now.....my brocade bags first samples out today so off to rectify some problems in it.
Also another event coming up, planning to do this one up in white and crystal.no colours at all and i m bored of silver and gold.ciao and have a great weekend.
