Death by chocolate

Hey I have been so busy the last few weeks-went for a vacation with my mom, finished designing for a new order, took up another job in delhi, been house hunting for my own little apartment in central Delhi....finally every things falling together.
I am moving into a tiny one bedroom place in defence colony this coming month, i have been frantically shopping for the interiors-i aimed at making at cozy and warm but ended up buying silks and velvets so now I am doing it up in hues of deep reds-wine, maroons, brick etc.just finished doing my bedroom-rich,sensual and so luxurious. As for my bathroom i am sticking to clean lines-lots of white candles in a royal blue bathroom, painting one wall ocre yellow.Really cannot afford to do the living room as if now-maybe later. My mom flew down last week and did my kitchen up-stocked it with so much food in matching ceramic containers and crockery sets. The kitchen is where I bake and create visually stimulating yet sinfully delicous food....i tried chocolate chip cookies last weekend(recipe below) really very easy, so delicous they melt in your mouth.
Also baked a sinfully rich chocolate cake for my best friends home coming-my friend just got back from manhattan and shes still so amazing.I spent a day baking for her coz the cake collapsed twice in a row-the baking powder was old,i finally figured it out the third time.
Its getting colder here-i wanted to start running this march but dont see anything happening till mid march maybe april.
Anyway, enjoy the cookies.
Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe.
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup white granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt, ideally with a wire whisk, and set it aside.
In a large bowl, mix the butter, brown sugar, and white granulated sugar with an electric mixer to form a granular paste. Add eggs and vanilla extract, and mix at medium speed until thoroughly mixed.
Blend in the flour mixture, then the chocolate chips (and optional walnuts), at low speed until the ingredients are well distributed.
Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 17 to 19 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand for a minute or so, then remove to wire racks or other cool surface with a spatula.
